770 light trucks exported to Russia
March 20, 2007, Beijing Auto Industry Import and Export Company held a ceremony in Beijing East Railway station to begin the trip of the train which carried containers from Beijing East to Man Zhouli to Moscow. The light trucks sent were named Qiling made by Beijing Auto Factory, totally 770 units. The leaders from both Beijing Auto and China Iron attended the ceremony.
This is the first time for Beijing Auto to do an international exportation by a whole container train. This is the second biggest trade after an exportation of 2500 last year. And also this is the first big trade in 2007.
There were 4,000 Qiling light trucks exported last year, including 2,500 to Russia. The exportation to Russia is the first important step of Beijing Auto’s stratagem. This item began in April of 2006 and was paid much attention to by both sides. The president of Russia side visited China side for several times to negotiate on the business. The ex-board chairman of Beijing Auto An Qingheng visited Russia side bringing a deputation. And then they built a base for the further cooperation.
Beijing Auto insists on a design concept that high quality, low pollution and humanized. They did much improvement on the light trucks from inside to outside. Every part was done perfectly so that the trucks got approbated by Russia side.
Beijing Auto
Beijing Auto Company set the foreign trade department in 2005 to do the exportation only. The business increased so fast in the recent 2 years. Now, they have exported their products to more than 25 countries and areas. The exported products are mainly the mini buses, pickups and light trucks.Views:0
