China Truck Racing kicks off in Xiamen
The China Truck Racing kicks off its new season of 2008 in Xiamen, east China's Fujian Province on May 18, 2008.
As the only truck racing event nationwide, China Truck Racing has entered the its sixth year and more than twenties cities aross the country hosted the motor racing gala in past years.
Organizers said team competitions, instead of individule game, will play a major role in this years tournament as total prize for each leg rises to more than 200,000 yuan.
Up to ten European drivers, including formoer champion of the European Truck Racing, will participate in 2008 season.
The organizers will go on with the training camp this year where amateurs are given the chance to go through the training to drive a motor lorry.
