Shaanxi Auto group exported 6302 vehicles in first 6 months
According to Shaanxi Automobile Import and Export Company, by taking an export-oriented strategy, they have made a great success in oversea market. By the end of Jun.2008, Shaanxi Auto Group had exported 6302 vehicles increased 362% y-o-y and export value reached 296,000,000 US$. Of the vehicles exported, 2676 units were exported by agents and 3626 units were exported through their own department.
In first half year, Shaanxi Auto established 16 oversea sales agents at the same time they integrated and upgraded their production capacity, innovation capacity, and management capacity and production quality. Introduction of international advanced truck technology in recent years has boosted the quick development of the company.
It is learned that dumper takes 78% of the export volume, tractor 13% and other major exported products were special purpose vehicle, cargo truck and off-road vehicle. Shaanxi Auto group’s major oversea markets are Russia and Algeria. Of the sales volume in the first half year, Russian market took 35% and Algeria market took 34%. It is predicted that export value of Shaanxi Auto group could be 60 million US$ to 80 million US$ in 2008.
