National III emission standard and truck dealers

Since July 1,2008, National Ⅲ emission standard was officially put into force across the country. With recent price hikes of raw materials, oil prices continued to rise, the automotive industry has entered a “cold spell.” In the field of commercial vehicles, its impact catches people’ eyes particularly. According to a survey that almost all brands of trucks in the market had different levels of price hikes.
 
Then, what the truck market will be like when truck price is going up so quickly? Reporters paid a visit to dozens of truck dealers and made an investigation around Beijing. After comparison, reporters found that business situations for dealers are quite different: dealers with some business difficulties in the past get into a more embarrassing situation after price hikes, however ,those who performed well in the past, not only not influenced by the increasing prices but gain more profits.
