China (Taiyuan) International Truck Exhibition and China Road logistics preparations meeting were held in Taiyuan, Shanxi on January 7th, which marked a began of world-class logistics exhibition in 2009. Organizers said the exhibition is scheduled form June 2, 2009 to June 4.

Taiyuan is situated in the combination of the three major economic departments. The geographical position of Taiyuan makes it been an important logistics center since ancient times。

Shanxi Province was a major energy province in China. Because of its market demand and productivity improvement in recent years, the railway has become the bottleneck in coal transportation. And same time the major coalfield in Shanxi is near the road. With the improvement of road infrastructure, road transport plays an increasingly important role.

The insider believed that, although the truck industry is also entering an adjustment period under large situation. With the construction of fixed investment, it will lead to the growth in demand for trucks and other infrastructure construction machinery.
