Qingling Motor: 2 automatic-shift CV models will arrive by the end of 2010.
China has no automatic-shift commercial vehicle and SUV history was broken. Qingling Motors Corp. announced that they developed two automatic-shift CV models will arrive by the end of 2010 in Chongqing auto show on June11th. And the price of the new model is 20% cheaper than the similar models in domestic market.
It is reported that the automatic transmission to match the sedan generally. There's no automatic commercial vehicle manufacturer yet in domestic. For this reason, the deputy general manager of Qingling Motors Fan Youyi revealed that the company joint with Japan's Isuzu has successfully developed commercial vehicle automatic transmission, which can match the Qingling commercial vehicle. It is said that this kind of automatic-shift commercial vehicle will be mainly used for airport service vehicles, such as serving trolley, garbage collection vehicles, Aushilfswagen and so on.
