Heavy truck market facing continuing tough times

China has reported a rocketing rebound in its automobile market, but it also worth noting heavy-duty truck market remains sluggish.
May output of heavy-duty trucks (including incomplete vehicles - or kits) reached 36,800 units, down 11.4% year-on-year. Sales of heavy trucks totaled 41,200 units in May, 11.6% off last year's level.
The figures indicate continuing tough times in China's manufacturing sector, which continues to be hit by the global economic downturn this year.
