China's Jan-Feb fiscal revenues up 32.9 pct y/y
(chinatrucks.com, Mar.16 2010)China's fiscal revenues rose 32.9 percent in the first two months of 2010 from the same period a year earlier, thanks to the improving economy as well as a low base of comparison, the Ministry of Finance said on Sunday.
Although the pace was slower then the 55.8 percent growth in December, it was still far faster than the country's full-year target of 8.0 percent revenue growth.
The low comparison base will fade away in May, so fiscal growth will likely be strong in the first half of the year before moderating in the second half, the ministry said in a statement on its website.
Revenues in the first two months totalled 1.36 trillion yuan ($199.3 billion), it said.
