Mini truck in Chang'an has potential market
(chinatrucks.com, March 29, 2010) It is showed by the statistics that sales volume of Chang'an mini cars and trucks are 700,000 by taking the advantage of "car to the countryside" policy in 2009. It has enlarged the coverage and influence of Chang'an Auto in second and third rate market.
As for the prospective of mini vehicle this year, the estimated increase will be 15%-20% in 2010. The main growing market is in the countryside because the mini truck can load more commodities and persons, and the price performance is higher.
The respective sales volume of Chang'an, Hafei, and Changhe are 186,000, 47,000,and 25,000 in the previous two months of this year, and the respective increase is 82.38%、84.46%、210.36%. Total sales volume of three automobile companies has passed the volume of Wuling automobile, which is the first of mini vehicle sales rating. Therefore, total sales volume of Chang'an Automobile has surpassed FAW, and Dongfeng, and come to the second place, secondly to Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation.
