ArvinMeritor to establish new technology center and production base in Nanjing
(chinatrucks.com, May 11, 2010) It is announced by ArvinMeritor on May 5, 2010 that ArvinMeritor Company is to establish a new technology center and production base in Nanjing with 16 million investments.
The reporter has learned that investment agreement has been signed on April 29, 2010. This new production base is to take 32,000 square meters and about 500 staff are included in the base after it has been put into production.
The new technology center of ArvinMeritor in Nanjing is to research and develop commercial vehicle for Chinese market, as well as the power transmission system product of off road vehicle (used for industry). ArvinMeritor plans to recruit best technician staff in China to work for the technology center, and to integrate the technology center into ArvinMeritor’s global technology research and development system.
