Global market share of China truck in 2010 to surpass 50%
(chinatrucks.com, Oct 9, 2010) It is reported on Sep 27th, 2010 that China truck has speeded up the process to march into world truck market. The market shares in middle East, north Africa and South East Asia have been rapidly elevated, and it is predicted that global market share in 2010 is to surpass 50%.
The report has also announced that truck production volumes of Dongfeng, FAW and Sinotruk group have raked respectively the second, third and fourth place in 2009 in the world. Production volumes of Dongfeng truck has reached 193,000, which is only subjects to the 229,000 of Daimler-Benz.
It is represented by the expert in the industry that it is kind of protection to Europe and America truck manufacturer at some degree because the quality of China truck has some distance between Germen and other developed countries. The other factor is because emission standard of China truck could not satisfy the serious European emission standard.
