China commercial vehicle production volumes takes half market share of the world
(chinatrucks.com, Oct 12, 2010) It is disclosed by “2010 global commercial vehicle industry forecast report” that at the first half of 2010, China commercial vehicle market has further increased 76%. The big increase is still representing that China has taken huge market share of world commercial vehicle production volumes even if the average value of China commercial vehicle is somehow lower.
It is a big challenge for commercial vehicle producers from West Europe, America and Japan. The earning profits ability of China mainly commercial vehicle manufacturers is increasing and it will promote R＆D capacity and global market share.
Furthermore, five China OEM manufacturers has listed to top commercial vehicle suppliers of 15 world commercial vehicle suppliers. They are Dongfeng, FAW, Sinotruk, Foton and Shaanxi, taken 1/3 market shares. Strong demands from China and other new rising market are increasing rapidly. It is predicted that global commercial vehicle production volumes will be increased to 1,800,000 by 2014, and more than 50% are coming from China and new rising markets.
