Dongfeng Develops High-end Light Trucks Captainfor Intl. Markets
www.chinatrucks.com: As booming China auto markets in 2010, more and more China auto makers are focusing on medium and high-end vehicle markets. Recently Dongfeng Auto released their high-end light truck Captain N300 to challenge international markets.
1.95 light trucks were sold last year, 12% of them were Dongfeng vehicles. Dongfeng Auto is focusing on medium and high-end light trucks to enter international markets.
JMC, Foton and JAC released high-end light truck models. And Dongfeng Auto has made their 315 development plan in the following three years, including producing 300,000 engines, 500,000 complete vehicles and exporting 100,000 trucks.
In addition, Dongfeng Auto pays much attention on developing international markets. And they have done lots of preparations before Kaipute exported to overseas markets, including making overall marketing strategic plans, adjusting product structure and homologations, trainings for dealers and some customers.
