Benz to sell 2.7 million cars till 2020
www.chinatrucks.com: Sales of Mercedes-Benz vehicles will surpass 2.7 million units till 2020.
They plan to build new plants in China and Mexico to increase their production output.
Gross profits of Daimler trucks can reach 10% till 2020 to beat their compete their rival, VOLVO, said Andreas Renschler, CEO of Daimler Truck Department. And they also consider whether to purchase most shares of their Russian rival, Kamaz.
Currently Daimler holds 11% of Kamaz, and EBRD has 4%. Average profits of Daimler Truck will reach 8% in 2013.
