Registration volumes of commercial vehicles in EU up 10% in 2011

www.chinatrucks.com: According to data released by ACEA, 166,739 commercial vehicles were registered in EU in Dec. 2011, up 7.5%. And the figures in Spain decreased by 14.2%, UK up 13.4%, Germany up 16.3% and France up 2.5%.

1,935,392 commercial vehicles were registered in EU in 2011, up 9.9%, but this still decreased by 22.5%.  Registration volumes in Spain decreased by 6.6%, UK up 17.6%, Germany up 18.7%, France up 5.6%.

Sales of all heavy-duty commercial vehicles increased in 2011, up 36%.
