Sales of commercial vehicles down 25% in Jan.
www.chinatrucks.com: 245,900 commercial vehicles were produced in Jan., down 24.98% over Dec. last year and down 38.44% over last year. And 229,200 units were sold, down 28.54% over Dec. last year and down 37.16% over last year.
Production of semi-trailer tractors and sales of bus chassis decreased comparatively moderate, and production and sales of other commercial vehicles decreased over 20%. And sales decreases of semi-trailer tractors and cargo van chassis decreased the most.
The top ten commercial vehicles in terms of sales are Dongfeng, Beiqi Foton, Jinbei, JAC, FAW, JMC, Sinotruk, SAIC-GM-Wuling, Nanjing Auto and Great Wall, and their sales volumes were 37,200 units, 28,000 units, 20,600 units, 15,200 units, 12,600 units, 11,100 units, 10,100 units, 10,000 units and 7,600 units.
