Shaanxi Auto to produce 3,000 SKD heavy trucks in Brazil

www.chinatrucks.com: Shaanxi Auto made agreement with Brazilian Metro-Shacman Company on build heavy truck assemble plant on may 9.
The annual output will amount to 3,000 heavy trucks till 2013 and 20,000 SKD ability in 2017. In the future engine, gearbox and axles will also be produced in the country. As one of the major auto maker in Brazil, Metro-Shacman started to cooperate with Shaanxi Auto since 2007. Shaanxi Auto passed Euro 5 certificate in Jan., the first China heavy truck brand in Brazil.
Shaanxi Auto exported 3,958 heavy trucks till April 25, up 65.7%.
