Production & Sales of trucks in China in April

www.chinatrucks.com: 298,917 trucks were produced and 306,402 units were sold in April, down 21.42% and 22.37% over March, and down 11.75% and 17.11% over last year.
52,495 heavy trucks were produced and 62,379 units were sold in April, down 41.14% and 1.27% over last year, and production and sales volumes in Jan. to April were 256,057 units and 265,811 units, down 34.17% and 32.95%. And Dongfeng, FAW, Sinotruk, Shaanxi Auto and Foton sold the most trucks, and the sales volumes were 57,200 units, 47604 units, 47121 units, 33672 units and 33,648 units.
23,999 medium trucks were produced and 23,963 units were sold in April, down 27.22% and 27.92% over last year, and production and sales volumes in Jan. to April were 98,191 units and 94,981 units, down 9.06% and 9.29%. Dongfeng, FAW and Sichuan Nanjun sold the most trucks, and their sales volumes were 27,972 units, 15,316 units and 8,557 units, and they take 54% market shares.
172,823 light trucks were produced and 172,628 units were sold in April, down 1.67% and 7.68% over last year, and production and sales volumes in Jan. to April were 663,036 units and 664,628 units, down 5.03% and 6.27%. Beiqi Foton, JAC and Dongfeng sold the most trucks, and their sales volumes were 149,356 units, 80,350 units and 68,670 units, and they take 44.89% market shares.
