Delong F3000 6×4 gasoline-air hybrid tractor is the first hybrid truck powered by diesel and LNG, it’s another new endeavor of energy-saving heavy truck developed by Shaanxi Auto. Based on the original diesel engine, a new set of LNG supply and electronic controlled injection device is added to F3000. A slight amount of diesel is used to ignite the mixed gas of natural gas and air in the cylinder to power the vehicle with the multi-fuel combustion. Under this multi-fuel mode, diesel is only used as the ignition and parts lubricant where natural gas offers the power to the vehicle.
