Shaanxi Auto: LNG Truck Rises against Sleepy Market
www.chinatrucks.com. A heated topic regarding to whether LNG truck will save the chilling market has been discussed in the downward trend of economy. Whatever the result is, Shaanxi Auto has given the market some figures to prove that the LNG heavy truck market was still a huge market with great potential. In Oct., Shaanxi Auto received a total order of 4,185 LNG heavy trucks, growing by 12.2% over Sep. and 48.7% over last Oct. In the first 10 months of 2012, a total order of 5,398 LNG heavy trucks went to Shaanxi Auto and the sales achieved 4,500. The company is currently accounting for 40% of the LNG heavy truck market. Shaanxi Auto raised the sales target production and sales to 80,000 around Jun. while most of domestic manufacturers were busy lowering their targets.
It is reported that Sinopec Anhui subsidiary and Shaanxi Auto has signed the strategic cooperation agreement. The two parties will co-build the business environment for CNG and LNG vehicles. More gas stations will be established to ensure the supply of fuel.
