HINO: Powering Chinese Logistic Industry

The bleak heavy truck market in 2012 has cast shadows on a number of truck manufacturers except HINO. “Though the market suffered 50% drop in sales this year, however, for HINO, sales in high-end market has not declined. Under supports from customers, the overall performance of sales grew by 30%-35% thanks to the high quality and low failure rate of the vehicle” said the general manager of HINO during his visit to Chinatruck.org  direct broadcasting room at Auto Guangzhou recently.

HINO 8*4 has been well received in the logistic sector since its launch. The vehicle has been working excellently and won praises from customers.

When talking about the development of transportation with dumping trailers, the manager said that seen from the current situation, the efficiency of trailer was relatively high in domestic market and it contributed to the high profit for companies. HINO has long been working on the reliable quality for customers and shared an important position in domestic market. He also expressed the expectation for the future development of domestic transportation with dumping trailers.

HINO has developed several CNG trucks and hybrid trucks under the great importance attached to the environmental protection. The hybrid products can be found in America, Australia and Hong Kong while the CNG trucks are more popular in other Asian countries such as Thailand. Meanwhile, HINO believes that the LNG products will be well received due to the heated concept of environmental protection.

HINO will transfer its LNG truck market to China. Because Chinese market has already to provide mature CNG, LNG technologies, the further moves will be the transfer of advanced engine technologies to HINO to prepare for the LNG trucks.
