China to Release National V Fuel Standard in 2013
www.chinatrucks.com: The Standardization Administration of the People’s Republic of China is to publish the fifth stage of the standard for gasoline and diesel used in vehicles, according to a national standard conference held on February 21, people.com.cn reported.
China will strengthen efforts in stipulating and improving regulatory standards for traffic and transport, new-energy vehicles, energy-conserving and environmental-protective technologies and products, and environment quality, according to people.com.cn.
The central government released the National IV standard for gasoline two years ago but the deadline for national implementation was then set for 2014.
