Top Five Cargo Makers in Each Segment Cargo Markets in Jan.-March 2013
www.chinatrucks.com: In March 2013, the production and sales volumes of China domestic cargos (Incomplete vehicles and semi-tractors included) were 382,618 units and 403,092 units respectively.
Heavy Cargos
From sales volume in the first three months, the top five heavy cargo makers were Dongfeng Motor (35,590 units), Sinotruck (28,630 units), FAW (26,442 units), Foton (24,738 units) and Shaanxi Auto (19,829units). The total market share of the top five cargo makers were 80.13 percent.
Medium Cargos
From sales volume in the first three months, the top five cargo makers were Dongfeng Motor (20,425units), FAW (10,395 units), Sinotruck (9,354 units), Chongqing Lifan Auto (5,873 units) and JAC (4,614 units). The total market share of the top five cargo makers were 69.21 percent.
Light Cargos
From sales volume in the first three months, the top five cargo makers were Foton (103,073 units), JAC (60,607 units), Dongfeng Motor (41,049 units), JMC (35,850 units) and Jinbei Auto (35,268 units). The total market share of the top five cargo makers were 56.22 percent.
Micro Cargos
From sales volume in the first three months, the top five cargo makers were SGMW (44,127 units), Foton (33,418 units), Dongfeng Motor (28,003 units), Chongqing Changan Auto (25,945 units) and Shandong Kama Auto (5,633 units). The total market share of the top five cargo makers were 89.97 percent.
