Chinese Vehicle Makers Need to Know More about Overseas Marrkets
www.chinatrucks.com : Overseas markets are making ever more contributions to the development of Chinese commercial vehicle makers. It is urgent that vehicle makers shall better understand the overseas markets and make strategic policies.
Before entering the South America markets, vehicle makers shall have a comprehensive grasp of local political situations, investment laws, labor laws, economic perspective as well as investment ventures.
The companies shall come and understand the local markets in detailed fields, such as culture, geography, climate, car pricing, international competition, laws, regulations, certifications, local companies, so that they could make more informed decisions.
South American customers view china made products as lower-priced but of good quality. Chinese vehicle makers should take advantaged of that and make more promotions, capture the market by good quality as well as low-pricing.
In terms of technological requirement, South American countries differ from each other. Mexican markets is more like North America with a high requirement technology-wise; Brazilian market is easy to enter but difficult to succeed in; Argentine market is very difficult to enter with rigor tariff and the local regulation is hard to guess.
So, vehicle makers shall focus more on the mature markets such as Chile, who itself is one of the most open market on the continent with a strong need for vehicles.
