The First Made-in-China Volvo Car to Roll-off in August
www.chinatrucks.com : Lately, the first made-in-China Volvo vehicle has been publicized on the catalogue of Ministry of Industry and Information. Before that, the Daqing plant of Volvo released the news that the Volvo Asia and Pacific has been approved by the state authority. As introduced by insider, the first made-in-China Volvo vehicle will be produced in August.
Inside news also goes that Chengdu plant is the only one authorized by Volvo outside of Sweden, with manufacturing skill and methods being the same with that in Swedish plant. And, to meet the local regulation, the vehicles made locally will have Chinese language sign stuck at the end of the car.
