Dayun Auto’s Fuel Saving Experiencing Activity

www.chinatrucks.com: On September 27, 213, Dayun Auto together with Weichai Power organizes a grand activity “2013 Fuel Saving Experiencing”. General manager of Dayun Auto Li Xiangyang, general manager of Weichai Power Wang Haiyun attend the activity and address respectively. More than 100 users and correspondents also take part in the event, witnessing Dayun truck’s fuel saving solution.

In order to have a comparison, the organizer chooses two heavy trucks for this competition, one is Dayun N8C CGC4250 tractor equipped with WP10 340hp engine and the other is another brand equipped with the same housepower engine.

According to the rules, two heavy trucks both loaded with 50t cargos start from Dayun plant through Airport highway to Wenxi highway and then gets back. The whole mileage is 74km. Two inspectors are invited to be on each of the trucks to monitor the competition process and record the fuel consuming instrument and mileage.

One hour later, two trucks come back to the plant and two inspectors declare their recorded figures. The results show that Dayun heavy truck consumes 25.61L oil, while the other consumes 27.53L. Based on current petroleum price, Dayun truck saves a about 19.76 yuan per onee hundred kilometers.

Fuel economy is one of the most important economic indexes and the most concerning performance for users. Fuel saving means money saving. The increase in economy represents the reduction in operation cost.
