Scania to Display at China International Commercial Vehicle Show
www.chinatrucks.com: Scania displays its China 4-compliant G400 4x2 and R440 6x2 heavy trucks at China International Commercial Vehicle Show (CICVS) from October 30 to November 2. Apart from that, it demonstrates the process to operate a “highly effective logistics” through actual objects.

Event spot
G400 4x2 and R440 6x2 heavy trucks are two recommended models of Scania in China. They can guarantee strong power and its SCR tail gas after treatment technology makes gas comply with last China 4 emission standard, realizing the green, energy-saving and effective transportation.

Effective logistic assists enterprises to save a huge amount of costs and also lowers down logistics’ negative impact on environment. Scania hopes to present a green logistic solution with low costs and high efficiency through demonstrating the actual loading and unloading. The curtainsider is no doubt the best presented product. The curtainsider uses curtain to cover box and allocates side rubber, air suspension and aluminum materials in a rational way to decrease its weight to 6t so as to enlarge rated load capacity at the same time of saving fuel. Side curtains and top cover can be taken off totally, which enables “centralized distribution” and “repeated loading and unloading between different warehouses”, making transportation in different places more effective.

Scania demonstrates the process to operate effective logistics
Director of Strategy Research Center of Scania China Xu Tao says: “the efficiency of curtainsiders rests with uncovered side curtains which allow several forklifts work at the same time and its standardized and uniformed tray which reduces loading procedures and maximizes usage of tray by coordination of different standard trays. Moreover, rational cargo allocation is good for balancing axle’s load, thus reducing wearing and increasing security.”

Air suspension system is another light spot in his presentation. A driver can adjust height of front and back axles to lean back cargo floor through manipulating the air suspension device between tractor and curtainsiders, making loading and unloading more convenient. The adjustable cargo floor enables curtainsiders to responding to different heights in different freight yards.
In his demonstration, cargo fasten belt is another new staff for Chinese users. The fasten belt fasten cargo in boxes in case of loss in jolty road.
