Foton Spare Parts Forging Center Puts into Use
www.chinatrucks.com: It is learnt from Chengde city that Foton Spare Part Forging Center Phase One project in Shuangluan District has come to mass production and start delivery. The production is around 200 boxes per day or 2000t per month. The production value is expected to be 37.8 million yuan.
The center is a key project of Hebei province with an investment totaling 3.7 billion yuan. It mainly producse spare parts for Benz heavy engines, Foton Cummins engines, Foton Ollin engines, BAIC engines, etc. The center is constructed in three phases with the first phase invested 1.995 billion yuan covering 468.6mu (around 312 400 square meters) and annually producing forging parts 9.5t.
Currently, the first phase has been completed and put into use. The actual annual production is 60,000 tons. The second phase will be initiated soon, which will be another production line for engine forging parts with 35000t annual production located north of the phase one. By 2014, the production of forging parts of engines will be 95,000 tons and basically meet for the demands of Foton.
