Fire Truck Companies Ready for the 5 Billion Fake
www.chinabtrucks.com:Fire trucks, as special vehicles, are not uncommon in government procurement projects. In the past two years, fire truck projects of millions yuan have been frequently accomplished. Fire trucks have become a "large" project in the government’s special vehicle procurement.
How large is our fire truck market? How to work in this market?
"Each year, about 4,500 fire trucks are purchased, with the procurement amount from 3.6 billion to 5 billion yuann." Ren Wanming, vice chairman of Shanghai Fire Research Institute of Public Security Ministry told the reporter, "At present, the main purchasers are fire forces and mining industries. Among the 4500 fire trucks, about 300 are imported. The imported trucks take up less than 10% in number but more than 20% in price. "
"Government procurement is the main channel of purchasing fire trucks, accounting for about 90 percent." Wan Ming believes that special vehicle companies need to pay attention to the government procurement market.
