Qingling VC46
Qingling Auto deputy GM Luo Yuguang said that Qingling and Isuzu set joint venture in Chongqing in 2011 to produce complete vehicles and parts. The company gets supports from Isuzu and they will develop new heavy trucks for China and global markets. The parts company mainly produce engine cylinders, caps and axles, and 90% of the VC46 will be produced in China when launching in August. The manufacturing costs will be largely reduced so that the cost and performance ratio and competitiveness will be largely improved. VC46 can save fuel as much as 20%, and the major haul is twice or three times of China made like trucks. The price for 400,000 Yuan is expensive than national brands but much less than exported trucks, so that the truck is with great market advantages. The annual output will amount to 30,000 units in 2015 and the sales revenus will reach over 10 billion Yuan, and then Qingling will own two major truck models and two engines for heavy commercial vehicles.
