Successful breakthrough of SHACMAN Nigeria localization project
www.chinatrucks.com: Recently, SHACMAN held its grand assembly line ceremony at the ANAMMCO assembly plant in Nigeria. This marks a significant breakthrough in the Nigeria localization project. To this date, SHACMAN has achieved 125 vehicle spare parts shipped to Nigeria with 25 of them completely assembled. SHACMAN is the fastest Chinese heavy-duty truck manufacturer to have completed the localization project since the vehicle assembly policy in Nigeria.
On the afternoon of the 15th, the ceremony kicked off to the beat of Nigeria’s National Anthem. Nigeria's Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment Department Mr. Olusegun Aganga, Enugu State Governor Mr. Chime Sullivan, Nigeria Automotive Council Chairman Mr. Aminu Jalal and some other 300 distinguished guests, including local media, attended the ceremony. Shaanxi Heavy Duty Vehicles Import & Export Co.,Ltd General Manager Wang Gang was also present.
During the following road test, 6 completed tractor trucks with plenty of power and good performance amazed those who were present. Then the visit to the assembly plant, our guests were impressed with the advanced assembly technology and skilled workers.
