Eight China Tire Companies to Build Factory in Thailand
www.chinatrucks.com: Thailand Minister of Industry ChakramontPasukavanich said that Thailand government is proposing to support building of rubber process factories, and they have invited some overseas investors in the end of 2014, and now there are eight China tire companies are interested on the investment and three of them have got ratified by the Thailand investment promotion committee and the total investment will amount to 269 million Baht.
It is reported that the investors will apply with building rubber factories and the annual output will amount to 2,200,000 set per year. Currently the glue consumption in Thailand is 560,000 tons a year, and the figure may amount to one million tons in 2016, taking 25% of national annual output.
Thailand is building rubber industrial zones in Thailand Industrial Zone to support the development of rubber industry.
