Electric Driving System for Self-Discharging Vehicles for Mining Use Makes its Debut
www.chinatrucks.com: On November 11, a whole water-cooling AC electric driving system has successfully passed a trial operation of 6,000 km on a self-discharging vehicle used at a mine. According to its manufacturer, CRRC Zhuzhou Institute, the system is produced with the company’s state-of-art technologies for manufacturing bullet trains. After passing the trial operation, the system has been put into official use. As the first whole water cooling AC electric driving system for articulated self-discharging vehicles used in mines, it is very capable of climbing steep slopes with a slope angle of 45 degrees. Also, its bending radius is short, making it particularly ideal for working in mines with narrow space and sharp bends on soft grounds.
