Scania Breaks Through Shandong Market
www.chinatrucks.com: Scania Sales ( China ) Co. Ltd. and Shandong Distributor Jining Yongli Trading Co. Ltd. held the Scania truck delivery ceremony and training for drivers in Gaotang City, Shandong Province during February, 1-2, 2016.
The 5 delivered Scania trucks were G440 6X2 tractors which is the main truck model in China. The maximum power of this tractor is 440 horsepower with the maximum torque of 2,300 N•M. The transmission is mainly made of Scania intelligent gearing system which has 14(12+2, two C gears) forward gears and hydraulic retarder. The tractor is equipped with disc braking system and ABS system, which makes the daily operation of tractor more safe.
The logistics companies ordered tractors are Xingsheng Logistics, Hengsheng Logistics and Shunjie Logistics respectively. These companies are big logistics transportation enterprises in Gaotang City and they are mainly specialized in trailers transportation. Zhang Bo, the general manager of Shunjie Logistics, said, “Shunjie Logistics is mainly specialized in line logistics transportation from Gaotang and surrounding areas to Zhejiang Province. The driving mileage every month can reach about 40,000 KM. I think that Scania can meet my demand of trailers transportation after careful acquaintance”. Those three logistics transportation enterprises were also the first batch of logistics companies who use imported trucks in trailers transportation. The choice of purchasing Scania tractors was made after careful comparison. Meanwhile it marked that Scania was further recognized by users in Shandong Province.
Hong Linghui, the trainer of Scania, provided training to drivers after the tractors delivery ceremony. He introduced the operation manners and notices of Scania tractor. Skills competition was held by Scania trainers between drivers of these three logistics companies. The competition was divided into two parts including theory test and practical operation, which are aimed at improve drivers’ familiarity of Scania tractor by combining the test of theory and practical operation. Li Baozhu from Hengsheng Logistics won the first place for his good master of theory and excellent driving performance. Both Gao Rongbing from Shunjie Logistics and Yang Hongcheng from Hengsheng Logistics won the second place. And Guo Tao, Yan Xiao and Sun Qinglei from Hengsheng Logistics won the third place. All of the drivers who attended this competition have been driving on roads for long time. They can only get rest before the Spring Festival. The competition was also a valuable opportunity for drivers to communicate with each other.
