IVECO HD9 Whole-wheel Drive Heavy Truck Delivered to Algeria
www.chinatrucks.com: After striking a pose on the stage of Hanover Motor Show,Iveco Astra has received a large order in African region to send 131 ventricles to seismic exploration in Algeria.
ENAGEO (Entreprise National Geophysique) belong to the Algerian state-owned SONATRACH Group is one of the leader of mining, energy, oil and gas industry all around the world. Its operation regions are also very extensive, mainly based on the Algeria, but also be extended to many regions of the world, such as Mali, Libya, Nigeria, Egypt, the United States and some European and Latin American countries. It delivered a total of 131 vehicles, including HD9-based 4x4 and 6x6 all-wheel-drive vehicles, mainly for logistics and support. The time of designing and manufacturing this batch of ventricles also set a new record that it has been smoothly delivered just since succeed with the tender at the end of the last year.
Project orders range covers a variety of truck models of professional configuration and special version such as trucks with fuel tank and water tank, trucks to transport people, trailer and refrigerated truck. With the consideration of the environment in Algeria, Iveco Astra has been designed specially for the extreme rugged terrain and harsh weather conditions in the desert.
Iveco Astra as a special brand of CNHI heavy duty off-road operations, the product HD9 is precisely in such extreme conditions, fully demonstrate its extremely strong, durable and versatile features.
Because of the difficult task and the complex environment, the team developed a number of specialized functions implemented including front specially strengthened spring, ADR system, STYRE 2000 conveying plant, enlarged fuel tank and special desert wheels.
Except for the special features listed above, Iveco Astra HD9 is also famous for heavy parts. 820mm and high compressive strength stainless steel wide chassis can provide strength and stability closed loop carriage support, advanced driving system and simple electric architecture.
All these designs ensure HD9 to have best stability and reliability when the truck is operating in the most challenging off-road operation.
