SINOTRUK New Energy CV Project Settled in Qingdao
www.chinatrucks.com: December 19, 2016, Qingdao, Shandong West Coast New District and SINOTRUK held a new energy commercial vehicle project signing ceremony, marking another high-end, new manufacturing project successfully settled in Qingdao. SINOTRUK plans to invest 1.5 billion yuan in the construction of new energy commercial vehicle project in Qingdao West Coast New District, mainly producing pure electric, hybrid, hydrogen fuel and traditional fuel buses. When all project put into production, the annual output can reach to 2000 commercial vehicles with the output value of 1.8 billion, of which the first phrase is expected to put into operation by the end of 2017.

Li Qun, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and secretary of the municipal party committee, and Zhang Xinqi, the deputy secretary of the municipal party committee and mayor, attended the signing ceremony and met with Ma Chunji, party secretary and chairman of SINOTRUK.
Li Qun said, “Qingdao has advantages in developing automobile industry, such as location, industry, human resources and transportation. The project is very consistent with the new development concept put forward by the central government, and has great significance of Improving the status and competitiveness of Qingdao in the national automotive industry and promoting the rapid development of equipment manufacturing industry in Qingdao. Hope that SINOTRUK can put more resources elements into Qingdao, R & D and produce more high-end products in Qingdao, help Qingdao construct ‘three centers and one base’. Qingdao will strive to provide quality and efficient services for the project construction.”
Ma Chunji said that SINOTRUK will adhere to the high standard of positioning, play a significant advantage of Qingdao project in international cooperation, promote the quality of project construction on schedule, and strive to build the benchmark of the industry, make due contributions for local economic and social development.
