CHMC Sales Climbed 30% in 2016 and Set a Goal of 45000 units in 2017

www.chinatrucks.com: As a "rare" joint venture in the commercial vehicle industry, CHMC knocked the socks off the whole industry in 2016: the sales are nearly 40,000 units, up by 33.7% year on year. In 2017, lead by the new ZEDO, CHMC set a goal of 45,000 units.
CHMC general manager Jin Shiping said in his speech, the sales of 2016 is 33.7% higher than that of 2015, reached 39,633 units, and on product technology and performance, TRAGO heavy truck has won “the annual trailer” and “fuel efficient competition champion”, COUNTY coach won the honor of “senior commercial bus star award”.
In 2016, CHMC launched sino-foreign joint venture, self own brand ZEDO. And its two trucks ZEDO 800W and 300M. In the conference, CHMC announced to launch 300N narrow body light truck and 500M wide body light truck, which make product series more perfect.
CHMC vice general manager and PD director Huang Renshou spoke in the medium and long term planning, by 2021, with the development, ZEDO sales will take account 70% of the sales amount, ZEDO will step into the CV industry with high quality.
We know that the main configuration of ZEDO 300N is Yunnei 490/4100 engine, Wangliyang 5 –speed gearbox, power-assisted steering and air-cut brake. And ZEDO 500M has engine options of Cummins 2.8/3.8 engine, Yuchai 495, Yunnei D30, power chain of “large power+small speed ratio” meet customers’ need of more load, higher speed and fuel efficient.
At last, CHMC president Sun Zhentian expressed in his speech, CHMC will make efforts to reach production and sales of 130000 units in 2020 and 150000 units in 2021, ranking the top 10 in China CV industry.
