Isuzu Launches Six New Truck Models in Thailand

www.chinatrucks.com: Isuzu has launched six new truck models to celebrate its 60th anniversary in Thailand. They are the FTR, FVM, FVZ, FXZ, FYH and GXZ series.
Toshiaki Maekawa, president of Tri Petch Isuzu Sales Co, said: “Isuzu has positive expectations of the 2-tonne-and-up truck market continuing to expand from 2016 while the investment from the state sector in basic infrastructure is still the main factor driving the market.
“In addition, the trend of the consumer product segment is for better growth. That is why Isuzu is confident in the Thai economy and is prepared to grow its business along with Thai society in the same manner as in the past 60 years since the very first Isuzu truck reached the shores of Thailand.
“Isuzu [has grown] together with logistics in Thailand over six decades. Isuzu has never stopped developing new innovations that cater to the heavy demands and function requirements of the customer.
“Isuzu trucks have gained the trust and confidence of business owners in the logistics and transportation industries, resulting in the company’s medium-sized and big trucks achieving No 1 sales [in unit terms] in Thailand since 2000.”
