China's Heavy Truck Makers Continue to See Strong Sales in January
China's heavy truck manufacturers continued to see strong sales in January 2019 amid continued vitality in the broader Chinese economy.
More than 96,000 heavy-duty trucks have been sold in January in China, up by 16 percent month on month, according to an auto industry information service provider.
The surging Heavy truck sales were due to stable economy in China and usually in line with major economic indicators such as PMI. The China's manufacturing
purchasing managers' index (PMI) for January came in at 49.5%, up from 49.4% in December, according to the National Bureau of Statistics. Other factors include a stable economy, truck upgrades of transport companies and stricter environmental rules.
