Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle CKD Trucks Assembled in Nigeria
On August, 16, the first batch of CKD Dongfeng heavy-duty trucks Tianlong VL and medium trucks Tianjin VR, assembled in Nigeria officially went off the production line. Over 300 people from the transportation sector, logistic industry, and various media in Nigeria as well as Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle witnessed the historical moment.

In 2017, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle further strengthened its marketing efforts in Nigeria. Very quickly, it struck a deal with a local customer. From exporting whole vehicles to "Technology + Product" export, the company gradually realized production localization in Nigeria, laying a solid foundation for its deepened cooperation with truck operaters in the country.

As the second largest economy with a strategic geographic location in Africa, Nigeria boasts rich oil and minerial resources. In response to China's Belt & Road Initiative, Nigeria has been working closely with China in such areas as infrastructure construction, trade, investment, industrial park construction, agricultural development.
