CATL Announced Its Plan to Set up a Chassis Plant in Yichun

CATL announced its plan to build the first production facility for its CATL Integrated Intelligent Chassis (CIIC) in Yichun, Southeast China's Jiangxi Province and has signed the deal on January 18, 2023.
Contemporary Amperex Intelligence Technology (Shanghai) Limited (CAIT-SH), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the group, was primarily responsible for the design, production, sales and services related to the chassis. This move will effectively promote the commercialization of CTC(Cell to Chassis) innovative technologies and skateboard chassis products in the CATL, and helps to advance the high-quality development of the new energy industry.
