Tan Xuguang: Tongli’s Heavy-duty Mining Truck Business is Our Benchmark
In the morning of March 3, Tan Xuguang led the Shandong Heavy Industry Group and Weichai Power team to communicate with Shaanxi Tongli Heavy Industry Co., LTD., accompanied by Xu Yanan, General Manager of Tongli Heavy Industry. The two sides jointly discussed the development trend and application scenario of powertrain technology in the field of mining trucks.

Xu Yanan expressed a warm welcome to Tan Xuguang's arrival. He said that Tongli Heavy Industry and Weichai have a deep foundation for cooperation, and Weichai's industry-leading powertrain technology has supported Tongli Heavy Industry to rank first in the field of off-highway wide-body dump trucks for more than 10 consecutive years. We hope to continue to maintain close cooperation with Weichai in the era of new energy and artificial intelligence.
Tan Xuguang said that under the guidance of Tongli Heavy Industry, China's mining vehicles have found a development path suitable for the Chinese market. Weichai has the advantages of powertrain integration technology and mining-excavation integration scenario understanding, and will unconditionally and comprehensively cooperate with Tongli Heavy Industry to make products that truly satisfy customers and allow Chinese mining vehicles to enter the international high-end market.
Before the meeting, Tan Xuguang visited the assembly workshop of Tongli Heavy Industry and exchanged the application status of Weichai powertrain with technical personnel on site.
