Allison Transmissions Drive Success for SANY's Mining Trucks in Brazil

Allison's high-performance Transmissions for SANY's mining trucks have seen great success in international markets. In 2023, 65 SANY 105T mining trucks equipped with Allison WBD series gearboxes were exported to Brazil.

The Allison WBD series is well-regarded worldwide in the mining industry for its excellent performance, durability, and reliability. Its smart shifting technology adjusts automatically to road conditions, ensuring smooth power delivery and efficient engine operation. The constant-speed downhill feature helps prevent speeding on slopes, making it easier for drivers to handle the trucks.

In Brazil's mining hub of Minas Gerais, the tough conditions put high demands on gearbox performance. Allison’s patented torque converter avoids common clutch wear seen in manual gearboxes. Regularly replacing filters and fluids approved by Allison is all that's needed to keep the gearbox performing at its best. The hydraulic transmission reduces mechanical shock, extending the life of the engine and axles. The Allison 4800 WBD gearbox also includes a diagnostic feature that provides early maintenance alerts and allows easy checking of fault codes.
