Geely Radar Pickup Set to Debut in Thailand
In April, Geely Radar signed agreements with dealers from over ten countries during an international event, marking a significant step in its global expansion. As a leader in China’s new energy pickup truck market, Geely Radar is now advancing its overseas strategy.
This November, Geely Radar will participate in the 41st Thailand International Motor Expo, showcasing its flagship products under the new brand name, RIDDARA. The company aims to compete with traditional fuel-powered pickups in the Thai market and use Thailand as a strategic hub to expand further into Southeast Asia.
Leading the Shift to Electric Pickups in Thailand
Thailand has long been a key automotive manufacturing center in Asia. Recently, the Thai government announced new policies to support the development of electric vehicles from 2024 to 2027, aiming to increase production capacity and accelerate the electrification of the auto industry.
Traditional fuel-powered pickups currently account for over 40% of the Thai market. As a pioneer in electric pickups, Geely Radar plans to introduce its fully electric pickup trucks to Thailand. These vehicles will offer a new outdoor lifestyle experience with power solutions for both work and leisure, reshaping the pickup market in Thailand and Southeast Asia.

Geely Radar will also establish a comprehensive service system and new energy infrastructure in Thailand to meet local customers' needs, ensuring they enjoy the same convenient experience as Chinese users.
Innovating Outdoor Living with Electric Technology
As China’s first new energy pickup brand to go global, Geely Radar, backed by Geely Holding Group, has created a new path for electric pickups through its innovative technology.
The company developed the M.A.P Radar Platform, China’s first all-electric pickup platform. It combines top-tier pickup technology with advanced electric vehicle systems, featuring a 140kWh battery for over 800 km of range, dual motors with a maximum output of 475kW, and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3 seconds. The platform also includes intellgent connectivity and outdoor power supply features.

More than just a product platform, the M.A.P Radar Platform supports a diverse outdoor ecosystem. Vehicles like the Radar RD6 and Radar Horizon deliver superior performance, making Geely Radar a leader in the outdoor electric vehicle market.
In 2023, Geely Radar achieved great success, holding over 60% of China’s new energy pickup market and winning the annual sales crown. Its products are popular for their smart solutions and versatility, and the brand has entered nearly 20 countries, including in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America.
Geely Radar has demonstrated the transformative potential of new energy technology in China’s pickup industry. Its powerful performance, safety, and smart features will appeal to global consumers, including those in Thailand. By expanding in Thailand, Geely Radar is poised to grow throughout Southeast Asia and beyond, bringing the benefits of Chinese new energy technology to the world.
