JMC Overseas Sales Surge
Jiangling Motors Corporation (JMC) has kicked off 2025 with impressive overseas growth. In January, JMC exported 10,079 vehicles, marking a 53.43% year-on-year increase. Behind this success is the dedication and hard work of JMC’s overseas team.
While China celebrated the Lunar New Year, JMC’s international staff remained on the frontlines of global markets. Some worked tirelessly across time zones, putting in 13-hour days to ensure timely project delivery before heading home just before the holiday. Others voluntarily stayed overseas to oversee critical projects.
Liu Chuan, who manages JMC’s Eastern Europe and Central Asia markets, was one of those who stayed abroad during the holiday. “Of course, I miss home, but the project must be completed on time. Only after ensuring everything runs smoothly can I return with peace of mind,” he said. The overseas team constantly faces challenges. In one case, a project urgently needed a critical component to prevent a production line shutdown. The domestic team responded swiftly, completing the necessary preparations and ensuring timely delivery, keeping production on track.
On February 12, during the Lantern Festival, JMC Import & Export Co. held a flag-giving and deployment ceremony for its Youth Commando Team. The event rallied the team to push toward the company’s 2025 export goal. As a crucial year for JMC’s "Three-Year Export Growth Plan," 2025 sets an ambitious target of exporting 150,000 vehicles. To support this, JMC has recruited over 30 new employees in 2024, bringing fresh energy to its global expansion.
Tang Zhichong, a new recruit in the Latin America region who joined JMC in July 2023, is on his first overseas assignment. “I felt both excited and nervous at first, but with my team’s guidance, I quickly adapted and gained confidence. I’m committed to growing in this role, exploring new markets, and seizing new opportunities for JMC’s global success,” he shared.
In today’s highly competitive global market, JMC’s international team continues to innovate in marketing. They have produced a series of high-quality videos highlighting key product advantages, providing global customers with a vivid and engaging experience. Additionally, the team has implemented precise marketing strategies tailored to different markets, leveraging social media, industry platforms, and offline events to maximize brand exposure. Notably, a single viral video has accumulated 21.75 million views, while JMC’s overseas website has attracted 1.76 million visits.
With this strong momentum, JMC’s global team is setting its sights even higher in 2025, striving to enhance brand presence worldwide and deliver top-quality vehicles and services to customers across the globe.
