FORLAND Officially Launches in Morocco, Strengthening Presence in North Africa
[Morocco, March 6, 2025] – FORLAND has officially entered the Moroccan market, marking a significant step in its global expansion. The company officially ntroduced four truck models in Morocco, including T5e mini truck, L5e small truck, L5n light truck, and L5 light truck, designed to meet the country’s diverse transport needs.

The launch event brought together nearly 100 guests, including government officials, business leaders, and industry representatives. Among the attendees were Chinese Ambassador to Morocco Li Changlin and senior executives from FORLAND and BM MAROC. Over 30 local media outlets, potential customers, and distributors were also present. This launch represents a strategic shift for FORLAND, moving beyond simple vehicle exports to a model that integrates technology transfer and industry standards. As Chinese commercial vehicle brands continue to expand globally, the sector is becoming increasingly integrated into international markets.
FORLAND remains dedicated to delivering high-quality vehicles and services while adapting its strategies to global markets. During the event, Ambassador Li Changlin highlighted FORLAND’s entry into Morocco as an important step in enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries and supporting local industrial development. BM MAROC General Manager Lionel welcomed FORLAND’s presence, emphasizing its potential to modernize Morocco’s transport sector. The company has outlined plans to establish 15 sales and service centers by 2026 and set up a local parts hub to strengthen after-sales support.

As part of its broader North Africa strategy, FORLAND views Morocco as a key regional base. The company is implementing a "technology-driven global expansion" approach, leveraging its partnership with GBH Group to integrate local resources with its manufacturing expertise. Looking ahead, FORLAND plans to introduce pure electric light trucks by 2026 and establish CKD (Completely Knocked Down) assembly operations in Morocco. These initiatives aim to reduce costs, enhance supply chain efficiency, and strengthen the company’s market position in the region.

Morocco’s logistics industry heavily relies on road transportation, creating a strong demand for reliable and efficient commercial vehicles. FORLAND’s four newly launched models are specifically designed to address these needs: - T5e mini truck – Optimized for last-mile delivery, including food and furniture. - L5e small truck – Suitable for transporting construction materials and express shipments. - L5n light truck – Designed for distribution to suburban areas. - L5 light truck – Built for long-distance logistics and government transport. All models come equipped with remote diagnostics and a strong after-sales service commitment, including a 2-hour response time and 24-hour repair service.

FORLAND is expanding local assembly in Morocco to enhance cost efficiency and competitiveness. Through deeper collaboration with distributors, the company aims to share market insights, optimize service networks, and improve overall customer support. By localizing production, FORLAND not only lowers costs for customers but also contributes to Morocco’s ambitions of becoming a commercial vehicle manufacturing hub in North Africa, driving industrial growth across the region.

As China’s automotive industry transitions from a manufacturing powerhouse to a global brand leader, the demand for efficient, low-carbon, and intelligent transportation solutions continues to rise. FORLAND remains committed to partnering with international stakeholders to drive industry innovation, deliver high-value products and services, and move closer to its goal of becoming a leading global commercial vehicle brand.
