Brazilian Transportation Delegation Visits GAC LINGCHENG
On May 15, a high-level delegation from the transportation departments of 13 Brazilian states visited GAC LINGCHENG, marking a significant step toward deepening cooperation in the field of new energy commercial vehicles. The visit centered on opportunities for applying electric and hydrogen-powered vehicles in Brazil’s logistics sector, potential partnership models, and localized business strategies.
During the visit, the delegation toured GAC LINGCHENG’s state-of-the-art production facilities, gaining first-hand insights into the company’s intelligent manufacturing systems, core technologies, and flagship products. Attendees also test-drove a full range of new energy commercial vehicles and praised their performance, reliability, and innovative features.
As Latin America’s largest economy, Brazil has a growing demand for commercial vehicles. Its vast territory and export-driven agriculture—particularly in soybeans and beef—rely heavily on road transportation. Meanwhile, the rise of e-commerce is accelerating the need for light-duty logistics vehicles in urban areas. In recent years, Brazil has introduced tax incentives to support green technologies, although the development of charging infrastructure remains a major bottleneck. While electric trucks and buses are still in the early stages of adoption, pilot programs for electric public transport have already launched in cities like São Paulo.

During the roundtable discussion, Brazilian officials highlighted China’s global leadership in smart mobility, infrastructure, and sustainable transport. They expressed a strong interest in working with GAC LINGCHENG to identify practical, localized solutions for Brazil’s transportation and logistics industries, with the goal of improving operational efficiency, supporting Brazil’s energy transition, and accelerating the digital transformation of the commercial vehicle sector.

The two sides also held in-depth discussions on key topics such as financing models, vehicle replacement and leasing programs, after-sales services, spare parts supply, and the development of local charging infrastructure.

Looking ahead, GAC LINGCHENG will continue to drive innovation through smart manufacturing, user-centric ecosystems, and industrial collaboration. Focusing on electric and hydrogen technologies, the company aims to deliver efficient, intelligent, and sustainable commercial vehicle solutions to meet the evolving needs of global markets. With a commitment to quality, reliability, and cost efficiency, GAC LINGCHENG is accelerating its international presence and empowering customers worldwide with next-generation new energy commercial vehicles.
