BYD First Appearance at China Commercial Vehicls Show 2025
November 10-13 BYD made its its appearance at the 2025 China Commercial Vehicles Show (CCVS), showcasing four core models: the new electric T4 light truck, T5 hybrid light truck, Q3 electric tractor, and the new C11 coach. The display comprehensively presented scenario-based solutions for urban distribution logistics, short-to-medium distance transport, and tourist/passenger transport, highlighting its leading strength in the electrification transformation.

This participation marked BYD's first exhibition of a complete truck matrix covering light-duty, light, and heavy trucks. Among them, the all-new pure electric T4 light truck was globally launched on the 13th. Equipped with high-safety Blade Battery, a 62.3 kWh capacity, and a CLTC range exceeding 330 km. Power-wise, it features a 150 kW flat-wire motor delivering 204 hp and 340 N·m of torque, with a maximum gradeability >35% at full load for easier climbing. The T4 also utilizes a CTC (Cell-to-Chassis) battery integration design, significantly improving space utilization and safety. It features the industry-first Lingxi Electro-Brake by-wire system for millisecond-level response and safer braking. Low resistance and lightweight design achieve an energy consumption of 18.5 kWh/100 km (CLTC cycle). Combining practical truck utility with car-like comfort through its sedan-inspired design, it redefines the pure electric light truck category.
New Electric T4 Light Truck
A dedicated 1,400 sqm dynamic test drive area was tailor-made for the new T4 light truck. On-site, numerous media experienced the vehicle's excellent handling and reliable quality firsthand through practical tests like hill climbing and cornering, unanimously giving positive feedback.

As the first 4.5-ton urban logistics light truck equipped with DM technology, the BYD T5 hybrid version boasts a range exceeding 1,100 km on a full tank and full charge. A pure electric version is also available with multiple battery capacity options, meeting both urban distribution and intercity transport needs. In September this year, BYD celebrated the official rollout of its 10,000th new energy light truck, with monthly registrations reaching 1,057 units, ranking among the industry leaders – solid proof of the product's strength trusted by countless drivers.
The pure electric Q3 tractor (Mountain Version) exhibited is equipped with a 452 kWh Blade Battery, offering a comprehensive range over 320 km, and supports dual-gun charging up to 600A. Performance-wise, it adopts a central drive axle, a combination of high-speed motor and four-gear transmission, with a maximum power of 550 kW and maximum gradeability of 30%, balancing power and economy. This model also offers multiple battery capacity versions, focusing on short-haul transport like ports and mining areas, as well as intercity dedicated logistics.

Beyond the truck series, the electric C11 coach also attracted significant audience attention with its core technology and stylish appearance. Built on BYD's e-BUS Platform 3.0, this 11-meter coach achieves a range of over 400 km even under full load with air conditioning on. Its safety, economy, comfort, and other performance metrics all reach industry-leading levels.
New C11 Coach
As a global leader in new energy commercial vehicles, BYD commenced commercial vehicle technology R&D in 2008. Leveraging 17 years of R&D experience, it has established a complete industrial chain integrating product planning, R&D, manufacturing, sales, and service. Its product line covers 6-meter to 27-meter pure electric buses and 3.5-ton to 31-ton new energy trucks, with footprints across over 400 cities in more than 70 countries and regions spanning six continents.
Moving forward, BYD will adhere to its philosophy of "Technology First, Innovation-based," deepening its full-scenario product layout based on its self-developed core technology of batteries, motors, and electronic controls, accelerating the commercial vehicle industry's transition into a new green era.
