Chenglong H5 290 Single-Axle Truck Targets Higher Operating Efficiency
In the commercial transport sector, vehicle performance is closely linked to operating profitability. Trucks are expected not only to deliver strong power and load capacity, but also to reduce fuel consumption, improve driving comfort, and support long working hours.
The Chenglong H5 290 single-axle truck has been developed to meet these practical demands. By combining power performance, fuel efficiency, and driver-oriented cab design, the model is positioned to support more efficient daily operations.

The Chenglong H5 290 is powered by a high-performance four-cylinder engine with a maximum output of 290 horsepower, placing it among the leading models in its displacement class. The powertrain provides responsive acceleration and sufficient power reserves, allowing the vehicle to handle steep gradients and highway overtaking while maintaining stable cruising speed. This helps operators keep schedules on track under varied road conditions.

Fuel economy is another key focus of the model. Through optimized powertrain matching and precise system calibration, the Chenglong H5 290 achieves improved fuel efficiency in real-world operation. Compared with similar vehicles, fuel consumption can be reduced by more than 1.5 liters per 100 kilometers. Over a full year of operation, this translates into fuel cost savings of more than RMB 10,000, directly contributing to lower operating expenses.

Driver comfort is addressed through a 2.3-meter-wide cab combined with a flat floor layout, creating a more spacious and flexible working environment. For long-distance transport tasks, the truck can be equipped with an optional sleeper berth nearly one meter wide, providing stable resting conditions and helping to reduce driver fatigue during extended operations.
With a balanced focus on power output, fuel efficiency, and driving comfort, the Chenglong H5 290 single-axle truck is positioned as a practical solution for transport operators seeking stable performance and improved operational returns.
