FAW TRUCKS Highlights New Energy Trucks at 2026 Shenzhen CV Eco Expo
FAW TRUCKS presented its latest product lineup and technology roadmap at the 2026 Shenzhen International Commercial Vehicle Eco Expo, held from March 20 to 23 at the Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center.
As a key industry event, the expo focused on green, intelligent and integrated development under China’s “dual carbon” goals. OEMs, suppliers and service providers from around the world gathered to discuss trends and explore new opportunities in sustainable and smart mobility.

At the show, FAW TRUCKS displayed eight core models, including the J7, Yingtu, J6 Pro, J6V Pro, Yingchi, JH6 and Hu6G, supported by a large-scale booth designed to reinforce brand visibility.

J7 Targets Long-Haul Efficiency and Comfort
Among the highlights was the J7 6SX1 6×4 natural gas tractor, developed for long-haul logistics where efficiency, durability and low operating costs are critical. The model is equipped with a high-output gas engine that delivers fast response and stable performance, even at altitudes of up to 3,000 meters.

Leveraging in-house combustion and thermal management technologies, the J7 achieves a thermal efficiency of 40%, helping reduce fuel consumption and improve operating economics.
The vehicle also emphasizes driver comfort. A multi-stage suspension system reduces road vibration, while an ergonomic seat improves shock absorption by 27%, helping to ease driver fatigue. Cabin noise has been further reduced, offering a quieter driving environment.
Yingtu Redefines Long-Haul Driving Experience
Targeting the premium logistics segment, Yingtu adopts a “mobile living space” concept. The redesigned cab provides increased interior space and integrates practical living features, improving driver comfort during long-distance operations.

The model is powered by an efficient powertrain with optimized control strategies, balancing strong performance with lower energy consumption. Enhancements in noise control, shift smoothness and overall drivability further improve the user experience.
J6 Pro Advances Electrification in Heavy-Duty Transport
In the new energy segment, the J6 Pro 6×4 electric tractor offers a solution for medium- and long-distance transport, as well as port and mining applications. The model features a dual-motor system with an integrated e-axle, delivering 400 kW of continuous power and 2,700 N·m of peak torque.

Equipped with LFP batteries, the vehicle provides a CLTC range of 400–550 km. It supports dual-gun fast charging, enabling a 20% to 80% charge in approximately 30 minutes. A lightweight chassis design reduces curb weight to 9.7 tonnes, helping improve payload efficiency.
J6V Pro Targets Urban and Regional Logistics
The J6V Pro 4×2 cargo truck is designed for intercity and urban distribution. It is powered by a 7.8L, 320 hp engine paired with an 8-speed transmission, delivering improved responsiveness. Higher-output configurations are also available to meet diverse operational needs.

The cabin features a wrap-around layout with ergonomic design, eco-friendly materials and upgraded seating for improved comfort. A 12.3-inch display integrates multiple smart functions, enhancing the in-cabin experience.
Yingchi Focuses on Efficiency and Cost Control
Yingchi is positioned as a cost-efficient solution, offering a balance of large cargo space, reduced vehicle weight and lower energy consumption. An optimized powertrain and cooling system ensure stable performance across different operating conditions.

The model adopts a lightweight structure to increase payload capacity, while low rolling resistance tires and system-level optimization contribute to improved fuel efficiency and overall operational performance.
JH6 Strengthens New Energy Portfolio
The JH6 represents FAW TRUCKS’ continued push into new energy solutions. It integrates an advanced battery system with optimized energy management, supporting a wide range of transport scenarios.

The model maintains strong reliability and durability, while delivering solid performance in payload capacity, comfort and driving range, ensuring consistent operation for users.
Hu6G Expands Electric Light-Duty Offering
The Hu6G 4×2 electric cargo truck focuses on cabin space and driving range. It features a wide-body cab with increased storage capacity. Battery options range from 96 kWh to 140 kWh, paired with an efficient electric motor.

A low-drag design and lightweight structure help reduce energy consumption. The vehicle also adopts advanced battery thermal management to ensure stable performance in different climates. Improved braking response and reduced maintenance requirements contribute to higher uptime.
A second Hu6G variant with a 96 kWh battery is designed for cost-sensitive users, offering sufficient range for urban delivery. Energy consumption is reduced by around 9% through system optimization, while a high-strength structure supports heavy-load operations.

Enhanced Engagement and Industry Dialogue
During the exhibition, FAW TRUCKS also set up technical demonstration and service consultation areas, where specialists provided product insights and addressed customer inquiries, highlighting the company’s user-focused approach.

The company also participated in several industry forums, including the 2026 Commercial Vehicle Innovation Forum, where it presented its latest technologies and lifecycle solutions, and exchanged views with industry partners on future development trends.

Looking Ahead
Amid the global energy transition and the push toward carbon reduction, FAW TRUCKS will continue to accelerate its development in new energy and intelligent technologies, aiming to deliver greener and more efficient transport solutions for the global market.
